STPZ LAB
STPZAMB
Ambient music that writes itself and never ends. Type a four-digit SEED and STPZAMB plays its song: a slow chord path with pad, bass, bells and texture, on sounds from STPZMX built in.
Listen
Played by STPZAMB itself, nothing added but a fade in and out.

SEED 0731
A number is a song
- Any SEED from 0000 to 9999 starts its own chord path. The same SEED and take play the same notes every time, so a song you like is never lost: write down four digits.
- New take: the same chords, played another way.
- Endless: every 5 to 10 minutes the music moves to a new key and section, and it keeps going.
A band that changes slowly
- Four parts: pad, bass, bells and texture (rain, wind, water drops).
- Sounds change one or two at a time, and a guest drops in now and then.
- Parts rest and come back, filters breathe, and the bass climbs while the pad rests.
Plays with your setup
AUv3 in AUM and GarageBand
It follows the host's tempo, and plays and stops with the host's transport. Stopped, the notes ring out.
MIDI out
Each part's notes come out on their own channel (1 to 4), so another synth, STPZMX among them, can play a part. Set a part to MIDI only and its own sound stays out.
On its own
The app starts playing as it opens, and keeps playing in the background with the screen off.
