STPZTUNE privacy policy
Updated 26 October 2026.
STPZTUNE does not collect any data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics or tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.
Microphone and sound
The STPZTUNE app listens to the microphone, and as an AUv3 it listens to the audio the host app sends it, only to measure the pitch on your device. The sound is kept in memory for that moment only. It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
What stays on your device
Your settings, My instruments and Custom sets are saved on your device, shared between the STPZTUNE app and its AUv3. As an AUv3, its settings are also saved inside the host app's project. A .stpztune file leaves your device only when you send it yourself, for example with AirDrop, Files or the share sheet.
